Exceptional design options Treat yourself to a whole new perspective on things. You have to experience this angle of view. At 180°, the field of view captured is even slightly larger than the human field of vision. Thanks to the unusual perspective, there are no limits to your creativity. Whether in panorama or landscape photography, architecture or even indoors: the Samyang fisheye lens can be used to take brilliant pictures. Thanks to the extremely large depth of field and the gigantic perspective possibilities, all options are open to photographers who love to experiment.
Optimized lens construction The lens construction has been completely revised for the new edition of this lens. All 11 glass elements of the lens are multi-coated, resulting in excellent contrast and sharpness rendition as well as a balanced color balance. Thanks to the use of three ED (extra low dispersion) and two aspherical lenses (ASP), image errors are corrected almost perfectly. The particularly high-quality optics of the lens ensure optimum image results. The very high aperture of f/2.8 enables outstanding images even in less favorable lighting conditions. The lens hood is permanently installed and prevents incident stray light and lens reflections.
Using an APS-C lens on a camera with a full-frame sensor Lenses that were developed for cameras with an APS-C sensor can sometimes be used on cameras with a full-frame sensor (mainly using an adapter). However, due to the significantly smaller image circle of APS-C lenses, the edges are black. The usable area of the image photographed with a full-frame camera therefore corresponds to that of a camera with an APS-C sensor. The images must therefore be cropped in post-processing. The use of APS-C lenses on full-frame cameras is therefore possible, but not recommended.
