Creative image design
The SAMYANG 24mm wide-angle lens with tilt and shift function offers a wide range of creative design options. Whether optical illusions, e.g. in miniature optics, or unusual image formats with selective blurring, the tilt-shift lens realizes all this in the usual high-quality manner. The wide-angle lens offers a fixed focal length of 24mm and a high speed of 1:3.5. 16 coated lenses (including two aspherical and two ED lenses) ensure good image quality. The aperture setting and focusing are manual.

"Shift, tilt and focus"
The independently rotating tilt and shift mechanism is the highlight of the lens. The housing can be shifted by +/- 12 mm (shift) and tilted by +/- 8.5° (tilt). The shift function shifts the lens system in relation to the image plane, allowing you to compensate for converging lines, for example. This is particularly important in architectural photography. With the tilt function, the lens system can be gradually tilted, allowing, for example, the focus range to be shifted with a shorter exposure time. This wide range of optical settings opens up countless creative applications, including in subject and landscape photography, for example.

Logical control buttons
Use the "black" button to adjust the optics - either tilt or shift. The "gray" buttons block your selected setting against unintentional adjustment.
The entire lens can be switched from landscape to portrait format with a small, flat, gray release button near the bayonet. This is particularly useful when shifting: left-right or classic: up-down.
The gray release button next to the gray shift lock button allows the lens to be rotated above: The tilt function can again be selected between left-right or up-down.

Advantages of a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor
Save time in post-processing. A large number of lens errors such as distortion, edge blur or vignetting occur on the outer areas of the image. If you use a lens calculated for full format on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not used. This results in maximum quality. Additional post-processing time to correct lens errors is therefore not required.
