The Beauty Dish Softbox of the Walimex pro Studio Line is a professional light shaper that gives your work in beauty photography the special touch of light. This innovative softbox is foldable and perfectly suited for mobile use. Its soft and at the same time accentuated light is often called "beauty light". The silver inner surface produces a strong, high-contrast light. When it comes to underlining the beauty of a model, the Beauty Dish Softbox is indispensable. The Beauty Dish Softbox is specially designed for on-location photography and is particularly compact, light and easy to use. High-quality materials allow a quick assembly without laborious handling with tension rods.
Ingeniously simple construction
No more uncomfortable handling with bars and individual parts: The new Quick Assemble "QA" softboxes of the Walimex pro Studio Line can be set up very quickly and very easily - according to their name - and of course can be dismantled and stowed away just as quickly after use. The ideal solution not only for photographers who need to make room in the studio quickly after shooting, but also for photographers who want to use the Beauty Dish Softbox for beauty or portrait shootings outdoors. Folded together and stored in the spacious carrying bag, the complete Beauty Dish Softbox incl. softbox adapter (available separately for all flash systems), inside and outside diffuser and honeycomb or grid is so compact that it fits into any setup and is therefore always there. To assemble, simply place the folded Softbox on the floor with the Speed Ring / Softbox adapter facing downwards and stretch the Beauty Dish Softbox like an umbrella until the holder in the umbrella bar audibly and noticeably clicks into place. Then turn the built up softbox over so that the speed ring is on top and fix the cover on the four longitudinally arranged Velcro strips - so everything is tightly stretched and no unwanted flashlight can escape laterally. The Quick Assemble System rightly bears its name and saves every photographer - beginner, amateur or professional - valuable time.
Connection to all flash systems and flash heads
The Beauty Dish Softbox can be connected to your flash system or flash heads via a Walimex per Softbox adapter, which you can purchase separately - for all flash systems. The Softbox adapter is then simply placed in the Speed Ring (quick-change bayonet) and fixed with the four screws - and the Beauty Dish Softbox is ready for use with your flash head. The Softbox adapter can of course remain mounted for transport in the supplied carrying bag with shoulder strap. Another gimmick: The type of softbox and the size are printed on the various softbox pockets - so the tedious search for the right softbox in the "light former fundus" is finally a thing of the past and you have the right light former at your fingertips with one grip.
diffusors and grid included
In order to be able to use the Beauty Dish Softbox for all desired light settings and to be completely free in the modelling of the image, the Softbox comes with three accessories as standard: Grid or honeycomb, inner diffuser and outer diffuser. The inner diffuser is simply connected to the flaps provided in the middle of the softbox by means of sewn-on Velcro strips. The outside diffuser is attached to the upper end of the softbox with the wide Velcro strip. There is still enough space above to attach the grid or honeycomb. This is quick and gives the photographer more freedom and possibilities to experiment with the different inserts and attachments.
