Compact in transport
The Walimex pro Telescopic background crossbar consists of two separate telescopic bars which are mounted foot to foot with the help of a peg. This results in a long telescopic pole that is extendable on both sides. It is delivered in two parts and therefore compact.

Simple and flexible to handle
The two bars are simply plugged together and secured by twisting. The stable design guarantees a high load capacity. The telescopic poles can be pulled out at both ends variably. To do this, unlock the telescopic system, adjust the length to your requirements and lock it again. The minimum width of the rod is 2.25 m and the maximum width is 4.0 m when the rod is fully extended. This gives you full flexibility, especially when compared to plug-in systems. The Walimex pro background bar is therefore suitable for all common background sizes.

For all common studio tripods
At both ends of the background crossbar you will find the possibility to attach the pole to a 5/8 spigot connection (e.g. lamp tripod, super clamp etc.). This offers you a wide range of applications. You can easily secure the rod with the attached screw. The assembly or disassembly, or even just a conversion, are thus safe and easy to carry out.

Stable 30 mm diameter
With a diameter of 30 mm in the middle and 28 mm on the sides, the background bar is generously dimensioned. This enables the system to achieve a maximum load capacity of 6 kg even at full width. The background bar is suitable for paper backgrounds with an inner roll core diameter of at least 40 mm, for fabric or PVC backgrounds.

Tips

The background bar is also a perfect helper in everyday studio life when used in conjunction with autopoles.

The assembly of the two rod halves is guaranteed to succeed if the extendable end pieces are loosened and pulled out approx. 10cm beforehand.
