Compact, versatile and high quality
The DSLM Travel Evolution Max 255 tripod weighs only 1.69 kg including ball head. It has a very small packing size of only 38.5 cm for a fully-fledged all-round tripod. The 3 tripod legs made of a high-strength aluminium alloy can be folded by 180°. So it fits in every bag or backpack and is ideally suited for city trips or longer hikes. As a real all-rounder, it is also well suited for landscape photography or studio use due to its large working height and its stability.
The leg angles can be easily and comfortably adjusted in three steps thanks to the pleasant feel of the leg angle fasteners and have a smooth-running spring mechanism. The modern ring-lock fasteners ensure high stability, compact dimensions, low weight and easy operation when setting up the tripod.
Extremely high working height, high load capacity and stability
The DSLM Travel Evolution Max 255 can be extended to a height of up to 173 cm, offering even tall people a comfortable working height when photographing or filming. The system (tripod and ball head) has a load capacity of 10 kg and is therefore also ideally suited for medium to heavier equipment such as full format, DSLR, mirrorless DSLM and CSC system cameras.
Despite its compact dimensions, the DSLM Travel Evolution Max 255 attaches particular importance to high stability. Both the materials used and the well thought-out construction of the individual components form the basis for the excellent stability of this travel tripod. Tripod legs with a maximum diameter of 25 mm ensure a safe and low-vibration stand. In adverse weather conditions you can additionally stabilize the tripod thanks to the built-in load hook. The foam handles on all three tripod legs help against clammy fingers. If required, the rubber feet can be unscrewed and equipped with optionally available spikes. Thus the DSLM Travel Evolution Max 255 tripod is also optimally prepared for use in difficult external conditions.
Versatile and richly equipped all-round tripod
A good all-round photo tripod must be an all-rounder with many talents. The DSLM Travel Evolution Max 255 wants to inspire you as a photographer in every situation. This allows you to unscrew one tripod leg and convert it into a monopod with a very generous 177 cm height without tools. Ideal, for example, for use in sports photography or if the location does not permit use as a tripod.
Thanks to the separate, second centre column, the DSLM Travel Evolution Max 255 becomes a true macro professional. The working height can be reduced to 8 cm with and 16.5 cm without ball head. Of course, the centre column can also be removed and brought into the reverse position. So you are optimally equipped for macro photography close to the ground.
Panorama ball head with Arca-Swiss compatible quick-change system
With the DSLM Travel Evolution Max 255 we placed great emphasis on the stability and features of the tripod head. A tripod with an inadequate ball head is often the cause of restlessness and annoying camera shake in your shots. Thanks to the built-in 36 mm ball and the solid ball head housing, the built-in ball head offers a very high payload of 10 kg maximum. The Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release plate allows your equipment to be mounted quickly and easily on the ball head. The vertical format notch and a total of three spirit levels on the ball head are very helpful when aligning your camera. The Quick-Lock locking system also ensures particularly fast operation.
The ball head of the DSLM Travel Evolution Max 255 has a separate control knob for the panorama function. This allows you to pan the DSLM Travel Evolution Max 255 without loosening the main lock of the ball head to rotate the ball head. This makes clean panorama shots a pleasure.
Full scope of delivery as standard
In addition to the tripod including the ball head and quick-release plate, the scope of delivery includes the separate, short centre column, several hexagon socket wrenches and a padded carrying bag. The high-quality carrying bag has a pleasantly thick padding, a shoulder strap and a specially padded bag bottom to protect your tripod.
